This article tells the inspiring journey of Citra Syifa Nailuvar, a student of STARKI, in transforming disappointment into personal growth and leadership. After experiencing rejection from her dream university, Citra lost her confidence and struggled to accept an unexpected academic path. However, through her involvement in the Student Senate, she gradually rediscovered her self-confidence, developed leadership skills, and found a supportive community that encouraged her to grow. Unexpectedly elected as the Chief of the Student Senate 2022/2023, she learned that leadership is not about working alone but about inspiring others to achieve shared goals. Under her leadership, the Student Senate successfully organized various educational, social, and community service programs that positively impacted both students and society. The experience not only strengthened her character and professional competencies but also prepared her for a promising internship and career. Her story demonstrates that setbacks can become valuable opportunities for self-discovery, resilience, and meaningful contribution to others.
